AACA Unifying La Crosse Wisconsin To establish a community-based resource center where African American and interracial families can seek support and address issues that may arise. Basically, this will be a non-profit organization and its criteria will fall under the 501(c)(3) provisions. Yes, the name (African American) will serve as the purpose for the individuals who are described under the organization name (i.e. race, ethnicity). Our primary office will be based in the city of La Crosse, not excluding the county of La Crosse and surrounding communities. As the organization grows, we want to be recognized throughout the Seven Rivers Region Area.

Culture, Community, and Unity are the underlying components, which make up AACA goals of unifying the La Crosse area. By acknowledging and accepting the unique characteristics and cultures of each individual we can better identify the likenesses within each of us. By engaging in quality association and free social interactions within the community we can work to achieve personal goals and community growth for years to come.

Every individual deserves the very basics in life; food in their stomachs, a place for themselves and their families to sleep, and proper clothing that is effective in the Wisconsin climate in order to progress as effective community member. Children growing up in a respectful environment, without the disadvantages of need will have a higher propensity to be a happier and more productive La Crosse citizen.

The unified support of AACA La Crosse collaborators will offer both short-tern and long-term solutions to eliminate disadvantage. True unity among people isn't achieved by bringing everyone to the same level; it is achieved by giving every person willing to put forth the effort a level playing field to start.
